Built for hard-to-fit foot types, the MX242 uses separated upper panels, a heat-mouldable heel counter, and dual BOA Li2 dials to help reduce pressure points and improve comfort across long rides.

Designed on Lake’s MX Competition Last, the MX242 Wide combines a larger toe box, secure heel hold, carbon fibre power transfer, and a Mountain Competition real rubber sole for trail grip and stability. With Helcor abrasion-resistant leather, Ecco full-grain leather, Nufoam lining, and carbon fibre support panels, it delivers a durable and supportive fit for technical MTB riding, racing, and adventure cycling.
