The DT Swiss ARC 1400 DICUT 85 WTS Carbon Road Wheel is a premium aerodynamic wheel system engineered for riders focused on maximum speed, aerodynamic efficiency, and high-performance racing. Built around an exceptionally deep 85 mm carbon rim, the ARC 1400 DICUT 85 WTS combines DT Swiss aerodynamic wheel technology with carefully matched Continental tyres to create an integrated Wheel Tyre System designed to optimise airflow across the complete wheel-and-tyre combination.
The 85 mm deep carbon rim features a modern 22 mm internal width and broad 32 mm external width, creating an aerodynamic platform suited to fast road racing, time trials, triathlon, and high-speed performance riding. Its hooked / Crotchet tubeless-ready construction provides compatibility with both suitable tubeless systems and conventional clincher configurations.
At the centre of the system is the premium DT Swiss 240 DICUT hub platform, paired with aerodynamic DT Swiss Aero Comp II T-head spokes and hidden DT Pro Lock aluminium nipples. Center Lock disc compatibility and modern 12 mm thru-axle standards provide secure integration with contemporary high-performance road bikes.
Available in Front and Rear configurations, each wheel uses a tyre selected for its specific aerodynamic and performance role. The Front configuration is supplied with the Continental AERO 111 26-622 tyre, featuring aerodynamic vortex-generator technology designed to manage airflow around the front wheel. The Rear configuration uses the Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR 28-622 tyre for a combination of speed, grip, rolling efficiency, and race performance. Continental TPU tubes are included with both configurations.
The Rear wheel additionally features DT Swiss Ratchet EXP 36 technology for responsive power transfer and comes fitted with a Shimano Road ASL11 freehub body, while an SRAM XDR Road freehub body is also included for added drivetrain flexibility.
